Isabella Quinn-Rodriguez
Raised in Los Angeles’s independent theatre scene, I began exploring the intersection of art and community through technical production, lighting, sound, stage management, set design, and marketing. My visual practice deepened at Ramón C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts High School in Los Angeles, where I focused on photography, film, and 3D arts, alongside practicing my art at the art institution Inner-City Arts as a Work of Art intern. These early experiences shaped my art practice through an experimental approach to materials and process, shaping stories through my work. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and work across photography, videography, graphic design, and printmaking, often experimenting with alternative processes. My work engages a wide array of individuals and communities, including Ice Hockey, Mariachis, Musicians, and Performing Arts, exploring the energy, culture, and stories that emerge when people come together.
